I had chipped a tooth, and my current dentist was unable to see me for until a week; I called Wilmot Family Dentistry, and they were able to schedule an appointment for me in no time. Over the phone and once at the office, they were extremely nice to me and treated me like I had been one of their patient. I was very impressed by this, as it is unusual to be treated so nicely by a staff when you a ... re an emergency and not a current patient. Dr. Lyman fixed the problem and also answered some of my questions, he is very knowledgeable! I am strongly considering continuing to come see them for my dental needs. more

I'm not a regular patient of Wilmot Family Dentistry, in fact, I don't even live in Tucson, I live in Texas. Prior to boarding my flight to Tucson I cap on Molar #1 fell off. No time to travel 55 miles back to my dentist with a flight leaving in less than an hour, so I figured I'd take my chances. That wasn't necessary, 1 phone call and Dr. Lyman not only gave me an appointment (convenient to ... my schedule) he also fixed the issue. It didn't stop there, Dr. Lyman and his entire office made me feel like I had been a patient for years. If a stranger can get service like that, imagine how a regular patient must be treated! more

Went to Wilmot Family Dentistry for my first visit, since my long time dentist retired. Went for an initial visit, exam and cleaning. I was very impressed with the whole office staff. I have been going to this dental office for about 7 years and I love the atmosphere, customer service and quality work. Tito does my cleanings 2x a year. He is attentive and knowledgeable about the health of the teeth, and knows when a tooth needs work. He was able to snap x-rays and Dr Lyman did a further examination to find I do need a filling replaced. Dr Lyman gets the numbing right every tim ... e, and is quick & efficient. I love this dentist!! I had my first appointment today and they took me back two minutes after I checked in! I also was put on a cancellation list for an earlier appointment and got in over one month early! They asked if I wanted new x-rays or have them forwarded from my last dentist. And instead of scheduling another appointment they actually cleaned my teeth the same day! Which never happens. T ... hey didn't try to sell me on a bunch of expensive procedures and upsell products. They are actually honest. The hygienist, Ashley, was terrific, thorough but not aggressive. I was so happy she never jabbed my gums once. They scheduled my next 6 month appointment and I didn't even have to stop on my way out. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! more

I must say, that this office and staff is amazing. I suffer from “dentist anxiety” and everyone was so great and understanding I didn’t feel any anxiety. I tend to have a bit of a “gag” reflex when getting my teeth worked on and the dental assistant told me “don’t worry, we can take this slow and redo this until we get the impressions we need.” That instantly made me feel so much better and relax ... ed. This is **THE BEST** DENTIST I believe there could possibly be. I dont say that lightly. Dr. Lyman is the 1st & ONLY Dentist who has EVER treated me with Compassion and Like a Human Being. His Assistant Liz Is Just As Wonderful. I went to them at a time in my Life that I Never thought I would have to come to. Before I found Dr. Lyman I went to over a dozen Dentists Begging for Help. I wish that I could give this office and staff MORE than 5 stars. There are few things that really stood out to me during my visit. The first thing, is my initial impressions. As simple as that sounds, I have a bad gag reflex. Not only did we get it on the second try, the tech told me “don’t worry, we will keep doing this until they are done!” That make me better. I was a long time patient of Dr Gold and after 6 1/2 years, I obviously needed some work done. When I called, Alanna was very helpful and assured me that Dr Gold had taken the time to find a dentist worthy of his patients. I,ve been a patient there since 2011 because Dr. Rodney Gold provided excellent dental care without gouging his patients with unnecessary treatments. Since Dr. Gold retired a couple years ago, Dr. Lyman has taken over the practice and is just as wonderful with the same great care and ethics. I’ve been coming here since I was probably about 11 years old, so 13 years now. I’ve never had a bad experience! Tito has always been so wonderful and friendly. He and Dr. Gold (now retired) always remember EVERYTHING going on in my life and ask for updates. I wish I could remember that much about my patients/ owners at the vet clinic I work at! I got my wisdom teeth removed here. This was my second time getting them removed and I was incredibly apprehensive going into the surgery because my previous dentist did a terrible job. Dr. Lyman made sure to talk me through the process and made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and addressed all my concerns. He removed 2 wisdom teeth in about 2 minutes flat and I didn’t know he had even started the ... surgery yet! I HIGHLY recommend this dental office for any dental care you or your family needs done.
